Roberto Paoli

Architect and designer Roberto Paoli associates deep technical competence with mastery of material performances, thus enabling him to create highly innovative products.
His studio works on numerous projects in a range of design spheres such as product design, interior arrangement and architecture (designing homes, stores, showrooms and exhibition stands).
Roberto Paoli is currently developing products for high-end furniture and lighting brands such as Ligne Roset, Fiamitalia, Artemide and Nemo Cassina .
In 2013, alongside his collaborations with renowned companies, he created his own brand, Seminato Mercadente, to self-produce products characterised by vigorous research, experimentation and innovation. The brand takes its name from its head office, an evocative space restored by Roberto Paoli, in an historic building (early 1900s) in Milan. Roberto Paoli has won the Chicago Good Design Award four times and has also been nominated for the Compasso D’oro; he won the Interior Innovation Award in 2014.
Roberto Paoli is also the creator and curator of design events and exhibitions. He is also a member of several international juries.
