Yak
With atmospheres of distant lands and contrasting textures, Yak is the collection designed by its natural ash wood frame, slightly inclined legs and an external shell made of natural full grain leather. The combination of materials, artisan crafting and all the elements of the system are perfectly balanced, inspired by Nordic traditions but with a contemporary vibe.
FRAME: frame in powder-coated steel with elastic straps. Legs an bands in natural aniline-dyed ash, in Canaletto walnut or black
colour, finished with transparent water-based or solvent-based coating. Adjustable thermoplastic feet.
EXTERNAL BODY: mineral-tanned pigmented cowhide, in natural or black colour.
GOOSE DOWN VERSION: seat, back and armrest cushions in goose down with polyurethane foam structure, covered with cotton
cloth. The seat cushions are double-sided, one side is soft and the other is firmer. Seat support pads in polyurethane foam covered
with light polyester velvet. For the FR (Fire Resistant) versions on request, the filling materials comply with the current regulations.
MEMORY FOAM VERSION: seat cushions in memory foam, polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, covered with cotton cloth.

Paolo Lucidi (1974) Luca Pevere (1977).
Both graduated and professionaly trained in Milan, they started to develop their first projects together since 2003 and in 2006 founded their studio LucidiPevere. They are facing constant challenges using unusual technics and aesthetic means to develop new forms of products.
Some of the brands LucidiPevere work with are De Padova, Zanotta, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, Agape, Ligne Roset, Foscarini, Kristalia, Living Divani, Normann Copenhagen, Very Wood, Emu, Casamania, DeCastelli, La Cividina, Teracrea. Their products appeared in different museums and won major awards such as Designpreis Deutschland, Red Dot Design Award, Good Design Award, Compasso d’Oro Honourable mentions and many others. They took part in various exhibitions in Europe and in the U.S. and appeared in different publications.
