Ettoriano Dining chair anthracite metal base

Available as both a chair and a bridge, Ettoriano presents a contemporary design that is both understated and comfortable. Defined by a minimalist aesthetic, it combines the sleekness of a refined steel base with the enveloping form of a one-piece molded shell.

Crafted from felt, this modern material enhances the warmth and comfort of the design, complementing the inviting curves of the integral shell, which is shaped to embrace the body. In the bridge version, the molded felt shell extends into two flared armrests, providing excellent support for the forearms while maintaining the chair’s elegant, streamlined silhouette.

Characteristics
CONSTRUCTION

COMFORT
Molded seat/back shell (+ armrests in the case of the bridge) made from 1/2'' - 12 mm thick grey PET obtained by pressing together 3 layers of 1/2'' - 10 mm thick felt (150 g/m²). PET felt is an ecological material which comes thanks to the recycling of plastic bottles.
Meet the designer
Claudio Dondoli & Marco Pocci

Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci met at the Faculty of Architecture, Florence. In 1983, having shared not only their studies but also an intense artistic and theatrical experience, they founded their own design agency at Colle Val D’Elsa, against the romantic backdrop of the Tuscan countryside around Siena. Christened Archirivolto, this agency has concerned itself solely with industrial design since 1989.

They maintain that today, true innovation is based on the use of technology and materials. Technology serves not to create an image, but to give service to the client : to be of genuine quality a good design-led product must therefore be beautiful, effective and comfortable.

Besides Ligne Roset and Cinna, they collaborate with Bonaldo, Desalto and Fasem.
