Ontario Ottoman
The Ontario is a tribute to designers Pauline Deltour and Pierre Paulin. A true hybrid of functionality, it allows users to define their own usage scenarios. Blending practicality with softness, it serves as a pedestal table and stool, an armrest and a trinket pot.
The seat is crafted from a monochromatic textile, while the tabletop is a turned piece of “Pearwood”-stained solid ash, capable of supporting up to 30 kg. A leather strap, integrated into the backrest with two flanged screws, acts as a handle for easy mobility.
Winner of the 1st prize in the Cinna 2022 competition, Ontario embodies the theme of creating a virtuous product from industrial waste while respecting a short supply chain. The use of solid wood and reclaimed leather makes this piece both poetic and environmentally responsible.
Structure in panels of multi-ply clad in polyurethane foam 50 kg/m3 – 6.5 kPa and 110g/m² polyester quilting. Seat comfort achieved thanks to a 42 kg/m3 – 4.8 kPa foam.
