THE CONCEPT
From Christian Werner, designer of the acclaimed EVERYWHERE storage range, comes SELVANS — a collection distinguished by the use of grooved, dark-stained walnut veneer on both its fronts and sides. The channels measure 1/8” (4 mm) in width at both the top and in the hollow, with a groove depth of approximately 1/8” (3.5 mm), giving the piece a subtle texture and refined architectural presence.

CONSTRUCTION & FINISH
SELVANS is available in three elegant finishes, all featuring ceramic stoneware tops and lacquered interiors:

DARK WALNUT: Internal compartment finished in chocolat lacquer; handle and base in chocolat lacquer; fronts and edges in dark walnut veneer; top in ceramic stoneware.
NATURAL ASH: Internal compartment finished in chocolat lacquer; handle and base in chocolat lacquer; fronts and edges in natural ash; top in ceramic stoneware.
BLACK-STAINED ASH: Internal compartment finished in chocolat lacquer; handle and base in noir lacquer; fronts and edges in black-stained ash; top in ceramic stoneware.

Each cabinet includes one adjustable shelf behind each door for flexible storage.

Meet the designer

Christian Werner

He was born in Berlin in 1959, and has lived in Hamburg since 1984. He studied industrial design in Berlin and Hamburg. Since 1992, he has had his own product design and interior architecture studio. He designs furniture for the foremost international manufacturers and undertake a variety of projects for stands, restaurants, publicity agencies, shops, franchises, etc. He also works with international companies such as Authentics, Carpet Concept, Cinna, Club Med, JAB-Anstoetz, Kabel New Media, Ligne Roset, Thonet, Tonon.
