TELEN evokes the calm of Japanese zen gardens, its design reminiscent of stones artfully arranged along a shoreline. Marked by smooth curves, refined delicacy, and a feminine touch, this settee boasts an almost organic, exquisitely decorative look. Its design features two distinct parts that can either unite or stand alone, allowing for personalized adjustments to enhance your living space. Constructed with a slim panel that rests on barely visible gliders, the settee is almost entirely built from foams of varying densities. The back cushions, with their rounded forms, are crafted from two asymmetrical angles—one offering a straight slope for a formal seating posture and the other a more curved profile for a relaxed, lounge-like feel. Each cushion is stabilized with a 1/2” (15 mm) thick plywood sheet, providing a smooth surface that supports non-slip material.

COMFORT
The seat is composed of high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam (36 kg/m3 – 2.8 kPa and 38 kg/m3 – 2.8 kPa) clad in 110 g/m² polyester quilting. The back cushion is composed of high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam (42 kg/m3 – 4.8 kPa and 26 kg/m3 – 1.4 kPa) clad in ultra-flexible polyurethane foam (45 kg/m3 – 1.8 kPa). Anti-slip system on lower face. Clad in 110 g/m² polyester quilting.
MAKING-UP
Twin-needle stitching on seat ; baguette and twin-needle stitching on the back cushion.

He was born in Berlin in 1959, and has lived in Hamburg since 1984. He studied industrial design in Berlin and Hamburg. Since 1992, he has had his own product design and interior architecture studio. He designs furniture for the foremost international manufacturers and undertake a variety of projects for stands, restaurants, publicity agencies, shops, franchises, etc. He also works with international companies such as Authentics, Carpet Concept, Cinna, Club Med, JAB-Anstoetz, Kabel New Media, Ligne Roset, Thonet, Tonon.
